The terms on which you may use the Corryk website and the research we publish here, and the terms on which organisations access Corryk Terminal.

Who we are
The Corryk website and Corryk Terminal are operated by Endenex Limited (trading as Corryk), a company registered in England and Wales (company number 17061688), registered office 6th Floor, 37 Lombard Street, London EC3V 9BQ. "Corryk", "we" and "us" mean that company.
Structure of this document
These Terms are in two parts. Part A governs your use of corryk.com and the research published there. Part B governs access to and use of Corryk Terminal by organisations and their users. Sections that apply to both — general provisions, governing law and contact — come at the end.
Where Corryk and a customer have signed a subscription agreement, order form, pilot agreement or design partner agreement, that document takes precedence over Part B to the extent of any conflict.
Part A — Website and published research
A1. Acceptance
By using this site you accept these Terms. If you do not accept them, please do not use the site. We may update these Terms; the version in force is the one published here when you use the site.
A2. Our published research
We publish analytical research under "Perspectives" and interactive views under "Observations". You may read, quote and share this material, provided you attribute it to Corryk and link to the original. You may not republish it in full, present it as your own, or use it to build a competing product.
Our research is not investment advice. It is factual and analytical market commentary prepared for professional audiences. It is not a personal recommendation, an offer, an inducement, or a financial promotion, and it does not take account of your circumstances or objectives. Nothing on this site should be relied upon as the basis for a transaction. Take your own professional advice.
Analytical frameworks, indices and scores appearing in our research are Corryk constructs, not industry standards. Figures may be modelled rather than reported; where that is so, we say so.
A3. What you may not do
- Use automated means — crawlers, scrapers, harvesters — to extract content, except that well-behaved search engine indexing is permitted.
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the site, our systems, or Corryk Terminal.
- Interfere with the operation of the site, including by placing disproportionate load on it.
- Use the site or its content unlawfully, or in breach of a third party's rights.
- Remove or obscure any attribution, copyright or confidentiality notice.
A4. Intellectual property
All content on this site — text, analysis, charts, illustrations, design and code — is owned by us or our licensors and protected by copyright and other rights. Third-party data reproduced under an open licence remains subject to that licence and is attributed where required. Nothing in these Terms transfers any intellectual property to you.
A5. Links to other sites
Where we link to a third-party site we do so for reference. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content or their handling of your data.
A6. Availability
We aim to keep the site available but we do not guarantee it. We may change, suspend or withdraw any part of it without notice.
A7. Our liability for the website
Nothing in these Terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited.
Subject to that, and because this site is provided free of charge for information: we exclude all implied warranties in relation to the site and its content; we are not liable for any loss of profit, loss of business, business interruption, loss of opportunity or loss of anticipated savings; and we are not liable for any loss arising from reliance on content published here. Our total liability arising out of your use of this site shall not exceed £100.
If you use the site in the course of a business, you agree that this allocation of risk is reasonable given that the site is provided without charge.
Part B — Corryk Terminal
Part B governs access to Corryk Terminal (the "Terminal"). It applies between Corryk and the organisation that has been granted access (the "Customer"), and to each individual using the Terminal under that access (a "User").
B1. Order of precedence
Where Corryk and the Customer have signed a subscription agreement, order form, pilot agreement or design partner agreement, that document takes precedence over Part B to the extent of any conflict. Part B fills the gaps and applies in full where no such document exists.
B2. Access and accounts
Corryk grants the Customer access for the agreed period. Access is for the Customer's own internal business use. The Customer is responsible for its Users' compliance with these Terms, for keeping credentials secure, and for telling us promptly if it believes credentials have been compromised. Credentials must not be shared outside the Customer's organisation.
B3. Licence, and what it does not permit
Subject to these Terms, Corryk grants the Customer a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to access the Terminal and to use the data within it for its own internal business purposes, including its evaluation of investment and acquisition opportunities. Insights derived for the Customer's own transactions are the Customer's to use.
The Customer may not:
- Resell, sublicense, syndicate, publish or otherwise make the data available to any third party, except to its professional advisers acting on a specific transaction and subject to equivalent confidentiality.
- Perform bulk extraction of the data, whether by export, scraping, automated querying or otherwise, beyond the export functionality the Terminal provides for ordinary use.
- Use the data or the Terminal to build, train or improve a competing dataset, product or service.
- Reverse engineer the Terminal, or attempt to derive our models, scoring methods or source mappings.
- Use the data for consumer marketing, for credit or employment decisions about individuals, or for any purpose incompatible with our Data Sourcing Statement.
B4. Accuracy
A substantial proportion of the figures in the Terminal are modelled estimates, not reported facts. In several markets, small companies are not required to file a profit and loss account, so revenue and related measures are derived statistically rather than observed.
The Terminal labels each figure as filed or modelled and shows a calibrated confidence indicator for modelled values. That indicator is itself a statistical estimate. Registers, regulators and statistical sources also contain errors and reporting lags that we cannot correct.
The Terminal is a tool for finding and prioritising opportunities. It is not a substitute for due diligence, and no figure in it should be relied upon as a warranted fact in a transaction. The Customer is responsible for verifying anything material before acting on it.
B5. Customer content
Notes, watch-lists, target lists, tags and other material the Customer creates in the Terminal remain the Customer's property. Corryk processes it only to provide the Terminal, and as processor on the Customer's instructions where it contains personal data. On termination the Customer may export it, and we will delete it within 90 days of the Customer's request.
Corryk may collect and retain aggregated, de-identified usage data — which features are used, in what pattern — to operate, secure and improve the Terminal. Such data never identifies the Customer, its Users, or the specific companies the Customer has looked at.
B6. Data protection
Each party will comply with applicable data protection law. Corryk is controller of the Terminal dataset and processor of Customer content; see our Privacy Policy. A data processing agreement is available and, where signed, forms part of the agreement between us.
The Customer acknowledges that the Terminal contains personal data relating to company officers and sole practitioners, and that the Customer becomes an independent controller of any such data it extracts or acts upon. The Customer is responsible for its own compliance in that capacity, including any transparency obligations owed to those individuals and any direct marketing it undertakes.
B7. Confidentiality
Each party will keep the other's confidential information confidential and use it only for the purposes of the agreement. Corryk's pricing, methods, models and non-public product roadmap are our confidential information. The Customer's search criteria, target lists and transaction interests are the Customer's confidential information, and we treat them as such — we do not disclose to any third party which companies a Customer has examined.
B8. Intellectual property in the Terminal
Corryk owns the Terminal, its underlying models and methodologies, its compiled dataset, and all intellectual property in them. Third-party source data remains subject to its own licence. No rights are granted except the licence in section B3.
B9. Availability and support
We aim to keep the Terminal available and to provide reasonable support during UK business hours. Unless a signed agreement states a service level, the Terminal is provided without a committed uptime guarantee, and we may carry out maintenance, update models and change functionality. Where a change is material and adverse we will give reasonable notice.
B10. Warranties and disclaimers
Corryk warrants that it will provide the Terminal with reasonable skill and care. Except as expressly stated, and to the fullest extent permitted by law, the Terminal and the data are provided "as is", and all other warranties, conditions and terms — including as to accuracy, completeness, currency, merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose — are excluded.
B11. Liability under Part B
Neither party excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Subject to that, neither party is liable for loss of profit, loss of revenue, loss of business or business opportunity, loss of anticipated savings, loss of goodwill, or any indirect or consequential loss. In particular, Corryk is not liable for any loss arising from a transaction the Customer entered into, or declined to enter into, in reliance on the Terminal.
Each party's total aggregate liability in any twelve-month period is limited to the fees paid or payable by the Customer for the Terminal in that period. Where the Terminal is provided free of charge — including under a pilot or design partner arrangement — that cap is £1,000.
B12. Term, suspension and termination
Access runs for the period agreed. Either party may terminate for material breach not remedied within 30 days of written notice, or immediately if the other becomes insolvent. Where access is provided free of charge, either party may terminate at any time on written notice.
We may suspend access immediately where we reasonably believe there is a security risk, unlawful use, or a breach of section B3. We will tell the Customer why, and restore access once resolved.
On termination the licence ends, the Customer must stop using the data and delete copies except where retention is required by law or professional record-keeping obligations, and the Customer may export its content as set out in section B5.
General provisions
Neither party may assign without the other's consent, save to a successor of its business. These Terms, together with any signed agreement and the documents referred to in them, form the entire agreement between the parties. No failure to enforce a term waives it. If any provision is held unenforceable, the rest continues in effect. Nothing creates a partnership or agency. A person who is not a party has no rights under the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act 1999.
Governing law
These Terms and any dispute arising out of them are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.
